The region's building trades unions and affiliated contactors have a new way of doing business.

They've created the Builders Guild.

That means 33,000 southwestern Pennsylvania craftsmen - along with responsible union contractors, contractors associations and industry professionals - have put their good names on the line to make sure you get true value for every construction dollar you spend.

It's a first. This is a new approach for southwestern Pennsylvania - and for the nation. The Builders Guild has evolved from a union initiative into an industry-wide initiative, bringing management and labor unions together as partners with a sing goal - to move every construction project smoothly form concept to completion. And that means working collaboratively with you as the premier value provider of construction services in the region.

It's a partnership. The region's trades unions and union contactors work together to deliver top quality at every phase of a project. Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, bricklayers and other skilled craftsmen are at your site when you need them. You get a professional, committed work force of educated, responsible men and women who take pride in their craft and in the success of your project. To that end, union building trades dedicate themselves to meeting all of you project demands, from design complexity, to effective team coordination, to expeditious problem resolution.

It's in writing. Union contractors and union representatives are committed to working with you in partnership. You'll have the manpower you need when you need it and access to specialized training through qualified and experienced contractors.
