North Shore Parking Garage
This art deco parking garage is a $21 million facility that holds nearly 1,000 vehicles, supports restaurants and other retail outlets on the ground floor, and maintains
a facade that parallels the scale and character of neighboring buildings. The key to the North Shore Garage's success was to responsibly address the demand for parking
in this growing area without fracturing the fragile urban fabric in which it would operate.
Palomino Restaurant
Working within the confines of Gateway Center and a five-month completion goal created challenging conditions for this renovation project. Issues such as lobby relocation,
mechanical and electrical shutdowns, and the safety of thousands of building occupants were resolved through cooperation among designers, subcontractors and union
craftsmen, allowing for the project to be completed on time and within budget.
PNC Firstside Center

Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP Conference Center
This two-floor, 36,000-square-foot renovation project ws completed despite many challenges, since the worksite was within the historic, nearly century-old Oliver Building
in downtown Pittsburgh. Adhering to stringent design criteria and dealing with a lack of work and storage space tested the expertise and skills of the project staff. Work
included demolition, renovation and mechanical system upgrades, all done without disrupting the law firm's staff. Close coordination among the trades, precise
orchestration of manpower and materials, and highly skilled installation techniques were key elements to this project's success.
