Western Pennsylvania Operating Engineers Joint Apprenticeship & Training Program Announces Upcoming Application Details
The Western Pennsylvania Operating Engineers Joint Apprenticeship & Training Program will accept applications for their 2018 apprenticeship training program December 4 through 15, 2017.
Applications are available by the following methods:
- Apply and submit the application fee directly online wpaoperators.org
- Download and print the application wpaoperators.org and mail the completed application and payment.
- Pick up an application in person at the following locations, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Then mail the completed application and fee.

Prior to the application dates, interested individuals can pre-register at www.wpaoperators.org to be placed on a mailing list to receive a notice with the dates, times and locations for the applications.
The Western Pennsylvania Operating Engineers Joint Apprenticeship and Training Program is a non-profit educational training program organized for the purpose of providing qualified Heavy Equipment Operators and Mechanic Technicians to employers in the construction industry by utilizing two related but separate apprenticeship courses; a Heavy Equipment Operator course and a Heavy Equipment Mechanic Technician course. Each course is 4 years in length and combines training at their site in New Alexandria, PA with actual on-the-job experience.
