Ironworkers erect structural steel, erect bridges, install
reinforcing steel, metal floor and roof
decking, and assemble and install decorative
curtain wall. Ironworkers also continually
maintain and service the furnaces, cranes,
equipment and steel assemblies for the
power and steel industry. They also move
heavy machinery and assemble pre-engineered
metal buildings.
